Bokeh: part 1

March 28th, 2009 Leave a comment Go to comments

Recently I had the Canon 50mm 1.8 II lense stuck to the 450D without changing so I thought I better review some of the results.

A few acquaintances have commented that the “blur” was used too much but then why NOT use it if it works well with the lense ?

Food photos ? They all use narrow depth of field !

Portraits ? You bet !

But that isn’t my point. The best point about this lense so far is that it makes the camera overall weigh exactly fuck all.

Good night.

    Hiya rkd, long time,…

Mate I’m with you on this one, your photos look the part, the lens your using works in the style of photo your taking.

I got the Sony Alpha A100 that came with a twin lens kit(a DT-18-70mm std zoom, 55-200mm telephoto lens) the only time I use the 55-200 is when a restraining order is in place, kidding, honest,… no, the only ime I use the 55-200 is to accent the blur effect you achieve with the one.

After saying that, I would love to get another Alpha and swap cameras, swapping lenses is a pain in the ass, and 9/10 times you miss the shot in between!

    Enjoy Brother.
