So I had this to play around with over the weekend of the 18-20 April and I really like the results. Infact it was a tad too wide BUT that lens and the 24-70 will be the two i buy next.
next rental will ne the 24-70 F2.8 L hopefully this weekend.Damn I love L glass !
As the follow up to this: Some day I will probably look at these and laugh Scratch that, I think I did well.
This is a placeholder for today’s “thing”. It will either work out or it won’t. Let’s see how well I can deliver. Stay tuned !
I’d like to point you all HERE for photos from day 2 of the 2009 ANFCC
A small sample of the 400 odd photos taken that day:
Well this is now over and I would like to give a big thanks to Eric Berry & family, his friends and the Blue Mountains crew for getting me into the event and ultimately (looks like) the wider bush fire brigade community. The event, all cadets and the crews have exceeded my expectations and being present as a photographer was a very lovely task to complete. Even though this was supposed to be mmy annual leave, I do not regret coming one bit.
For those who want to keep in touch: add me on Facebook – Arkady Gundroff
Now as for the photos, I will start churning through them soon and will put up a few tomorrow and more within a week so please be patient.
www.bushfire.net is being setup for everyone to use to host photos, not just the “official” photographers of the event. Get in touch with Eric Berry from Blue Mountains District for access to upload etc.
I am off to get some rest and wish the same to you. WA: I will be baaaaack !
Some photos from day 2 of the championships ! UPDATED
